Since Livets Ord was founded on May 24, 1983, we have dreamed, built, developed, and shaped a church that loves Jesus and loves people.<\/strong><\/p>

We aim to be a warm and outward-looking church, a place where people, young and old, can feel truly at home and included in the Christian community. This also applies to everyone who comes to our Bible school. Here, you are given the opportunity to grow both as a person, in your faith in Jesus, and in your creativity. Becoming involved in the church while attending LOBC not only provides opportunities to develop in various areas but also makes Uppsala feel like home during your year at Bible school. We work in many ways both in Uppsala, across Sweden, and globally, with the goal of making the love of Jesus accessible to as many people as possible. The calling we received from the Lord in the beginning, and which we have always worked from, is summed up in these words: “Equip God\u2019s people with His words of faith. Show them the spiritual weapons they have. Teach them to use them and send them out in victorious battle for the Lord.”<\/p>

This vision is expressed in everything from our local church and community activities, to our social efforts among refugees, the homeless, and the vulnerable in Uppsala. It also extends to mission work, Bible schools, and humanitarian efforts in many countries around the world. Today, we have approximately 3,000 registered members in the church in Uppsala. Livets Ord is part of the Word of Faith movement.<\/p>

Livets Ord Bible Center is located in Uppsala, Sweden. The city has a population of just over 220,000, with a large percentage of students. This gives Uppsala a youthful and vibrant atmosphere, with a wide range of activities. The city is also centrally located, with Stockholm just a 30-minute train ride away and easy access to Arlanda Airport.<\/p>

Uppsala is one of Sweden’s oldest cities, rich in history and home to several historic buildings, such as the Carolina Rediviva library, Uppsala Castle, and the Uppsala Cathedral, the largest in Scandinavia.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
