Your first year at WLBC
The first year at WLBC is divided into two classes, a Swedish-speaking and an English-speaking class. During the first year, the main focus is building a solid foundation for every believer with relevant bible teaching, time for prayer and worship and practical application. Here, you’ll grow in your understanding of God’s word, in your spiritual life and your walk with God regardless of whether you’ve been a Christian all your life or just recently found the faith.
The everyday life at bible school consists of a school day from 08:30-11:50 AM, starting with prayer and worship in the morning followed by three lessons with breaks in between. The lessons touch upon current subjects as well as the foundations of Christian faith. (See full list of subjects below.) Some subjects are complemented with course literature.
After school you can stay behind to seek God and pray together with others during Prayer school from 12:30 AM to 01:30 PM.

Special days with guest speakers
In addition to the set subjects there will be open seminaries with guest speakers, days for reflection where you can ask questions and discuss the subjects you’ve had.
Find your place in the church
During the bible school year, you will also engage yourself in teams both in church and in the bible school. That way, you get to develop in the areas you’re passionate about, whether that’s worship, hosting, media or something completely different. Through teams you also get to know new people and build the church simultaneously! Beyond the regular services, there are also a number of events and conferences where you can contribute in many different ways.
Take what you learned to Europe
Many of our students view the end of year mission trip as the highlight of their year. Here, you get to travel to a country in Europe together with a team and spend ten days ministering in different ways. Every trip is different, but most teams get the opportunity to evangelize, preach, teach, help out in practical ways and lead worship. Through this journey you also get to meet and connect with the local people and church, which in itself is often an inspiring experience.
Special days with guest speakers
In addition to the set subjects there will be open seminaries with guest speakers, days for reflection where you can ask questions and discuss the subjects you’ve had as well as a two week period where all the usual lessons are replaced by streams where you choose one out of five subjects to delve into. You can read more about the different streams below.
